Your drum is looking proper good, me old cock sparra. Nice to see a bit of the old Cockney lingo on the blog. Which prompts me to ask ... is there rhyming slang for words like blog? I realise that some new slang is still invented but mostly around in-the-news celebrities e.g. He's a bit of a Wayne (Loony - Wayne Rooney, football player). So I propose that this now becomes Britgal's London (London Fog = Blog).
I shall pop back to your London soon, me old china!
OH GOODY I remembered that one! My Bubbles (wonderful neighbor) was an actress and knew all the cockney lingo! I loved it Sarah, it made me think of her so warmly that I nearly cried! hugs Sandi
