Sunday Book Review

I thoroughly enjoyed Jayne Ann Krentz's Lost & Found, infact I only put it down to go to work and had it read in 3 days.

It is a suspense/mystery with a romance between the two lead characters built in. The whole story is set in the world of antiques, dealers and the very wealthy. It's pretty obvious from the start that the romance will come together by the end, but the mystery twists and turns rapidly keeping the suspense until the surprising ending.

I could not have predicted who the eventual 'bad guy' was going to be, even 50 pages from the end. It's an entertaining read with the antiques aspect explored well and in detail, and many other good characters in the main storyline.

This is not a 'deep' book or an award winner, but if you just fancy an easy entertaining read, then it's a winner. This was my first book by this author, but it won't be my last.

This is the 3rd book I've heard of this year that has the title LOST & FOUND. This one sounds interesting. I'll look for it to add to my L&F collection!

I love it when book reviews show up! And I like Ms Krentz quite well...I need to take on a part time job so that I can afford all the books I want to read...I know, I know...Library! But I'm selfish, I want to own them!

I've read several of her books and enjoyed them all. Most of her main characters are similar in that they are smart, educated women who don't fit society's expectations of 19th century women. She also writes under another name but I can't think of it right now. They are usually set in modern times.

I love Jayne Ann Krentz. She's an awesome writer. She writes under different names too, and I love all her books. Light, romantic and fun to read.
