Don't think I have mentioned it previously, but we are expecting guests from Blighty on Thursday evening. My old neighbours Linda & Bryan, who took in my kitty when I left and have remained good friends. They are touring various places and stopping over with us for 5 nights in Okieland.
So this weekend we are getting the house ready, well when I'm not sleeping thanks to the chest infection meds still, and I think I am possibly swinging into hypo-thyroidism too.
There's alot to do as when we ripped up the dining room/hall carpet, we moved everything into the guestroom. So I am off to start moving it back into place and give them somewhere to sleep. Plus of course there's the obligatory cleaning and the Hubster has mowed and edged the yard for his part.
So next week you will be getting a veritable feast of sights from my area, as we 'do' the guest tour of our local historical places of interest. I am looking forward to having some Brit' company, especially as they also have the good taste to be Man Utd and F1 fans.
