Lewis Hamilton - Formula 1 World Champion

From Blue Peter as a 13yr old karting prodigy

To youngest ever F1 World Champion & he's British

Well done Lewis - you deserved it!

And priceless moment of the day - Ferrari wildly celebrating thinking they'd won, until someone pointed out Lewis passed Glock on the last corner and won, no money could ever replace the looks on their faces as they realised! Things were utter chaos in our sitting room at that point as we celebrated :-)

Send him victorious,
Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us (and them)
LEWIS HAMILTON!

But what a nail biting finish! I feel a little sorry for Massa but absolute glee at watching the faces in the Ferrari garage with their premature celebrations.

Hopefully the stewards won't dock him 2 points for waving a Union flag? (Wouldn't put it past them).

Yep there were alot of choice words and finger gestures flying in our front room, at the shots of that Ferrari celebration on our TV!! That made my day totally LOL

However - we have not seen Lewis interviewed at all, bloody Speed coverage! Anyhoo apparently there will be an interview shown at 6pm.

John said to tell you that he had to turn off the TV on that last lap once it was clear Lewis wasn't going to win .... hahaha just kidding. Yay for Lewis, we figured you'd be dancing down the street in victory! Shame about Coulthard though, that was a bad way to end his career!

Such a shame how DC's race came to an end on the first lap..gutted for him.

I was rooting for Massa..not worried about Ferrari, just Massa..hopefully he will have his wish next year!
