Skywatch Friday

I just happened to glance up and see this Beaver Moon (thanks Fishing Guy!), contrail and Cottonwood in perfect harmony last weekend.

Delightful picture of the sky! And some beautiful floors in your house. It's nice to find a house that was built so well.

I love the blue sky, but with a moon in it instead of the sun.

Lovely moon shot. I'm so dumb, I don't know what the harvest moon is. Sigh.

I've had a few "moon" adventures - lovely catch. Glad you looked up when you did!

Sarah: That was a neat capture over of the moon over the tree.

That is a Beaver Moon, the Harvest Moon was two months ago. Each Moon name has it's own month.

wonderful photo... I had seen a moon like that last week but it just did not turn out near as good as your shot!

I had to look closely for the contrail, but when I found it, WOW, it DOES make it all in perfect harmony! Nice shot!
