Still continuing with the '7 things meme':
- My regular readers will see this one coming - a BACON BUTTY (thick white bread, butter, HP sauce and bacon)!
- Indian Curry - you have no idea how much I miss just being able to just pop out and pick up a ruby murray (curry).
- Toast with butter and English Orange Marmalade
- Homemade Chicken Pie - I make a mean chicken pie, with a bit of everything thrown in, in fact it's dinner tonight. Brit's love pies!
- Baked Potato with butter, sour cream, bacon and cheese - loads of fat but oh so good!
- M&S Prawn Mayo' Sandwich, another big miss from home.
- Lindt Lindor Truffles, they just melt in your mouth and the centre always feels cold? Just a taste sensation not to be missed!

You never miss something very much until you can't have it anymore. I really miss Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper (which isn't available in Canada) & what I wouldn't give for a Magnum ice cream bar!
Hi..First time reader..Very nice blog!! Ok, here's mines..
1.steaks
2.burgers
3.bacon/eggs (combo)
4.sausage/eggs (combo)
5.chicken

You and my Husband should sit together and enjoy your baked taters .. he loves his like that ... he once got CheeseWiz to put on his tater because he 'didnt need to wait til it melted in' that way .. I am not saying you should try it, but he is!

Sounds like the perfect meal, what time should I be there?
Well I was with you all the way until the M&S sandwich. Yuch!
How about ham and pease pudding sandwiches? Yum.
You Brits love your baked potatoes, too, don't you? I was surprised not to see baked beans on the list. lol
Mine are:
anything I don't have to cook myself
Italian food, especially real hard parmessan or romano cheese
rack of lamb
my Mom's mac & cheese
roast beef & yorkshire pudding
M&M peanuts
apple crisp - warm with vanilla ice cream on top
Ditto...I love all the same stuff!
I lived in London for several years when I was younger and loved the food. Yes, really. Had the best chicken pie ever at a restaurant in Chelsea, long gone. All your faves sound great. I loved pork sausages for a breakfast fry-up, too. Nostalgie...
First time visitor and love your blog.
