Beyond a joke!

The Okie weather that is!

Yesterday we got up to 66 degrees and I was swanning around in a floaty short-sleeved summer top.

Today we have already reached our high of 36 degrees, although with a north wind of 35mph, it 'officially' feels like 24 degrees.

So that's a temperature change of 40 degrees in 24 hours, no outside recess for the kiddies today!!

Same kind of weather here in Twang Town. Yesterday cold, and miserable, today in the 60 degree range, but with a wind that will cut you in two.
I was hoping to finish up the outside Christmas lights, and hang the window wreaths, but in this gale, there's not much point, unless it includes plans to run down the street every once in awhile to retrieve them from the neighboring property.
Onwards and upwards......

Oh, poor you! At least it's not raining here today - and it's quite mild.

Sounds like we're all experiencing some strange weather right now!

It's bitterly cold in the UK right now

36 degrees and the kids get to stay inside? Do they not have coats, hats, and mittens? ;-) There comes a point in February when 36 degrees feels positively warm around here! Of course, if the air is merely damp they call for an inside recess - if they did that in the UK the kids would spend most of their playtime inside!

The weather in Charlotte has been wacky too! Not quite as warm as Okieland but it was definitely warmer today! Now tomorrow it is suppose to be cold and by Friday even colder!!

AA - I think you missed the point! The official NWS feels like temp' was only 24 degrees and that's way too cold with a north wind to put kids out.
