We had a lovely day

Our 3rd wedding anniversary was perfect. As I got ready for work the Hubster called in to our local radio station to wish me Happy Anniversary. Just after lunch I received a gorgeous bouquet of flowers from him, I kept them on my desk at work so I can enjoy them all day. Plus I'm not sure they'd survive little Bon-Bon's attention here all day with no supervision!

We also received this beautiful Poinsettia and 2 balloons from my Mum and Gran. It's such an unusual and gorgeous colour.

I decided to cook us a special meal of marinated jumbo shrimp and bacon skewers, in cajun seasonings. They were delicious and it was nice just to have a quiet night at home enjoying each others company.

Thank you to everyone who sent us good wishes :-)

It does sound like a lovely day. How come you didn't go out to dinner?

I make it a policy not to work on my birthday.
