Beautiful scenes from rural OK. I loved the way the highway shot looked, as if it went on forever. All of them were great but there was something about that shot that really grabbed me.

Having just moved from a flat state - I'm glad to be back in the mountains. But it does look pretty there. I love your rural pics.

Great shots! I have been fascinated by the pictures of western roads that just disappear straight into the horizon since I was a kid.

Lovely pictures. I grew up on an island in Washington State - I miss all the water, the big trees, and the mountains . . . Maryland has it's own beauty, though. I have seen most of the US by traveling. We will be living in Hawaii this summer. June. I can't wait! I think Okie land is beautiful and quiet - that makes many people scared. Most of us long for quiet, but are araid of it, too. Thanks for sharing!

That caliche road looks awful red. Guess it is mixed with that Oklahoma red clay.

Beautiful photos, Sarah.

But don't you just hate those feed lots. I've seen 'em, I've smelt 'em. And what's worse, people eat from 'em.
