Wonderful glimpses of your world! Nice captions too. I would love to take a drive on that road.
Beautiful photography in this post. I like your representation of rural Okieland!
Oh, your photos are marvelous! and they do so remind me of my childhood in Texas! Wow, brought back a lot of memories. Thanks for sharing and thanks for visiting my blog! Have a great week.
Very beautiful scenery. Remind me of my trip to Australia. Your blog is raining hearts. :) Happy Valentine's Day in advance.
Beautiful scenes from rural OK. I loved the way the highway shot looked, as if it went on forever. All of them were great but there was something about that shot that really grabbed me.
Wonderful post about Oklahoma.
"Ooooooooook-lahoma where the wind comes sweepin' down the plains... " Can you hear me sangin'?????? ha ha (Love that musical!!!)

It looks like where I grew up. My husband is from Laverne, Ok. My folks live in Canton, Ok. & we have family all over Oklahoma.

OK is beautiful! But how funny the spam word, of all things, is "trugly"!
Having just moved from a flat state - I'm glad to be back in the mountains. But it does look pretty there. I love your rural pics.
There is a lot of space under those big skies.
Awesome photos. Great post!
Great shots! I have been fascinated by the pictures of western roads that just disappear straight into the horizon since I was a kid.
These are terrific photos, Sarah! I love seeing what's around you.

I love Oklahoma
these are so lovely.. love those open spaces! and i do relate to the lack of stairs and steps in the earlier post.. exactly the same here! :-)
You certainly have captured rural Oklahoma in beautiful photos! Very nice post!
Yep, you got back roads Oklahoma nailed.
Lovely pictures. I grew up on an island in Washington State - I miss all the water, the big trees, and the mountains . . . Maryland has it's own beauty, though. I have seen most of the US by traveling. We will be living in Hawaii this summer. June. I can't wait! I think Okie land is beautiful and quiet - that makes many people scared. Most of us long for quiet, but are araid of it, too. Thanks for sharing!
These are like those cinematic images from American films. It really is aowrld far removed from the UK.
Oklahoma seems to have a bit of everything!

These are really interesting. I would love to see a wind farm. Your shots are great.
That caliche road looks awful red. Guess it is mixed with that Oklahoma red clay.

Beautiful photos, Sarah.
But don't you just hate those feed lots. I've seen 'em, I've smelt 'em. And what's worse, people eat from 'em.
