In case you missed it...

Here is definitely the wierdest and quite possibly the worst ever performance on American Idol! Simon Cowell hit the nail on the head and personally I love Adam, usually!

Whoa, we're a week or two behind so we haven't seen this here yet - sounded like Jim Morrison being channelled.

I just haven't been able to get into Idol this time. Each time I watch it, I can't find a favorite. This guy seems pretty talented, although this song needs a little help. :-)

Well Adam had one of the best voices and a range that defies belief and he is star material. But oh deary me this was bad bad bad.

Last week he was astoundingly good and next week is Motown, which maybe another bad one for him!

Well, count me among the weird who actually really liked it. "Worst ever performance"? That's a bit harsh and overstated, don't you think?

That was kind of scary.

Undoubtedly THE BEST performance of the evening. Inspired. The ONLY performer to truly make the song their own with no compromise and stay true to who he is. To do it any other way would have been wrong. He is NOT a country singer. He is a true artist.

With all due respect to Country Music, it was not a comfortable fit for many of them without compromising their core values.

Lil Rounds managed to pull it off, but the significance of a Stunning Black woman singing country was not lost on me.

Adam is the real thing and that performance proved it.

Oh, it's not my choice of viewing pleasure, but one must compromise sometimes. I'm such an angel, yes?

I just saw the show this weekend (we're a bit behind, but not all that much I would seem!) and oh I agree!!! I love Simon for having the guts to say it like it is.

johnny cash is my favorite singer of all time. i was cringing when i heard this. ugh.

i did have to give him some credit for sticking with his style though, and man he can hit some notes!
