The Abstinence Teacher - Tom Perotta
Italian for Beginners - Kristin Harmel
Summer at Willow Lake - Susan Wiggs
The Winter Rose - Jennifer Donnelly
So far the runaway winner has been The Winter Rose the sequel to The Tea Rose and another absolute stunner of a novel. It had everything, history, drama, romance, great locations and continues the characters from the first. So good in fact, that despite having both these on library loan, I want to get my own copies as they have become instant all time favourites!

Sarah, I can't wait for the last in the "Rose" Trilogy to come out! I love that series. I have e-mailed Jennifer Donnelly a few times and she is truly a wonderful person!
I'll have to get the Rose books. Hopefully our library will have them. I've been keeping track of my books on a facebook app and I'm currently on book 7 for the month. I'm reading 2 right now which drives dh crazy. One of them though is My LIfe in France by Julia Child. It is fantastic, but not a book to be devoured. It's my before bed read and I'm taking my time with it. The other is a thriller and my daytime read. :) Thanks for the suggestions!
Great collection and you are doing very well, Ive completed NIL lol.
You are a reading machine.
Just been checking The Rose books and ordered them online from our local library. Isn't the Internet fabulous! Thanks for this Sarah.
I've been obsessed by Anne Perry's William Monk series. They should set these for history reading. I learned more about Victorian history from this series than the rubbish I learned about the Congress of Vienna etc. Gives you a good insight into the hard reality of life for women, the poor, medicine and crime in Victorian England. About to start her Charlotte and Thomas Pitt series. Not much housework being done at the moment!
Good for you. I've not been that active in the book area so far. May have to look the rose books up.
