Brit' Gal definition of a 'bargain'

15 as new, unread books for just $18, from the bargain shelf of our local library. Seriously, these are virgin books!

What's more I grabbed a few modern classics here, including 3 hardbacks and when you're only paying a $1-2, it makes you take a chance on a book you might otherwise not read.

Who needs a Borders et al within 100 miles!

A bargain indeed! There are some good books in that pile!

Much as I love books, I hate paying for them when I can get them free or nearly free! We have a 'book shack' at our local dump. People are encouraged to drop books off there, and you can take any books you want for free too.

I love library sales! I missed ours a few weeks ago (it was the same day as my mother-in-law's birthday and we had to go out of town, boo-hoo) and that was the last one of the year. I always get good deals at mine - ours has small paperbacks for 50 cents, large trade paperbacks for $1 and hardbacks for $2. You got some great books! I've got several of these on my bookshelves :) And there are a few others here that I'd like to read. Have fun, and Happy Reading!!!

Bargain! I'm off to the boot sales tomorrow and usually come home with some good books - although I have a huge pile I need to read through and probably shouldn't be adding to it!

Oh, I'm just loving it. I love a great book bargain. What fabulous books, too. You must read Kite Runner - it is spectacular. I want to borrow the Nicholas Sparks book (perhaps when you visit me = ha, wink, wink). They all seem like great titles in great condition. What a deal!

Oh don't worry, I plan on reading them all.

Our library has a constant sale of books in this condition at these prices - unbelievable, especially as many are bestsellers!

I am so bad at this sort of thin. Just today I noticed I have 4 big books sitting on my dresser I got all for deals and have yet to even open up one of them...but how can one just let such deals go by? Surely I will read them one day?!
