In Remembrance

They are all gone into the world of light,
And I alone sit lingering here;
Their very memory is fair and bright,
And my sad thoughts doth clear.

~ Henry Vaughan, from Silex Scintillans

Stop and remember wherever you find yourself today at 8:46am, the exact time the first plane hit the World Trade Center. Sadly we will all live with the images of that day burned into the forefront of our memories forever.

Oh my gosh! Another year has passed already!

My heart goes out to all the lives that were lost and to their familys.

Thanks for reminding me! I don't watch the news... too depressing. xx

Yes, I remember it well. My husband was out flying around Europe in a clearly marked American government airplane too. A scary scary time. Was riveted to the TV.

I will always vividly remember--sights, smells, sounds--all etched in my memory forever.
